No matter how many times I teach tenses and how often I revisit them with my classes, this grammar concept is always what my students find the most challenging! I always have tenses displayed around the room, particularly the present tense as it helps form so many other tenses! If all this sounds very familiar, you may like this cute little FREEBIE I've just posted on my TpT store. It is a set of 3 posters on how to form French regular verbs in the present tense.

I have just achieved my first milestone as a TpT seller, with 100+ people now following my store! I LOVE creating resources and am delighted that people are following me and buying my products! I really wish I had enough time to create more products and, to be perfectly honest, being such a procrastinator really does not help in any way! Any great tips are warmly welcome!!!

*FREEBIE*: The Big 5 in French
Today I am sharing a FREE set of 5 posters to help children use present, past, future, opinions & justifications in their writing. 'The Big 5' refer to the top 5 animals to see on safari and, as my school is in Kenya, the children love naming these writing elements 'The Big 5 in French' and think it's a great way for them to remember what they should include in a good written piece. I fell in love with the beautiful set of animal print paper from Prettygrafik and, of course, I had to buy them! These posters also go really well with my Classroom Language Posters :)
I hope you can bring a bit of wild life into your classroom with these bright posters :)

Make Dice App & a *FREEBIE*!
Dear readers,
Today, I want to talk about an App which I LOVE: Make Dice. Make Dice is a great App to use in the language classroom for vocabulary or grammar practice. The free version enables you to create dice with words, whilst the full version ($2.99) will also allow you to create dice with pictures, which is great for reviewing topic-based vocabulary. I love using the App with verbs and tenses, but the choices are endless!
I love that you can customise the dice so that they perfectly match what you want to teach your pupils. Another advantage is that you can differentiate by making your dice more or less complex depending on your pupils' ability, something you cannot do by purchasing ready-made packs of language dice. It is also a cheaper alternative!
What could be improved: the App is ULTRA sensitive and even the tiniest movement of a child writing on the table will make the dice 'roll', making it quite frustrating at times! Therefore, you ideally want to use this App as a 1:1 activity.
Now for the FREEBIE!
Click on the image below to download ;)
This is a worksheet I created for pupils to practise irregular verbs in all 3 tenses using the App. The pupils were given 3 dice with:
- Subject pronouns
- Irregular Verbs
- Past, present & future (repeated so that you have 6 sides!)
However, I am sharing the editable ppt file so you can adapt it how you like!

*FREEBIE* FRENCH SPEAKING PUNCH CARDS!
Hi all,
Today, I am sharing my way of encouraging pupils to speak French in the classroom! Just click on the image below to download this freebie:
These adorable punch cards are great fun and really motivate pupils to speak the language. As pupils get more confident, I start becoming more demanding of them and only punch a pupil's card if they've said an entire sentence...
When pupils have their entire card punched, they can trade it for a prize. I got a whole bag of mini Eiffel Tower keyrings for free when I took the pupils on a trip to Paris and the children absolutely LOVE them! Stickers or any other incentives will work great too :)
I hope you have fun using these with your own pupils!
Have a great week!

*FREEBIE*: French Tips & Freebies e-Book
Hello everyone!
I have recently taken part in creating the 1st French e-Book on TpT and am delighted to let you know that it is available for FREE!!! This fabulous winter resource has almost reached 4,000 downloads and has made it into the top 100 resources this month! Can you tell how hard it is to contain our excitement right now?!
We've worked hard to meet the high standard of other similar publications on the site and I think we have done a good job... for a first attempt! There are 21 contributors and the resources are quite varied so there should be something for everyone.
It was such a success that we're already thinking of renewing the experience and publish a Back-to-School eBook in the summer, so watch the space!
Grab the e-Book by clicking on the image below.
By the way, doesn't the cover look amazing? That's the creative work of Profs et Soeurs, the brain behind this project!
Grab my contribution by clicking on the image below:
I really hope you and your pupils enjoy the activities we've put together!
